Mother's Day Weekend

This was the view Barclay gifted my for my birthday retreat, my cabin hung over a bluff with expansive views of Discovery Bay and the Olympic Mountains. The weather was spectacular, sunny, warm and not a cloud in the sky. Breathtaking sunsets, eagles, sea lions, otters and such. I really enjoyed every last minute of being alone, despite missing my sweet ones and calling home repeatedly throughout the day. Oh how I love solitude. Looking forward to my next opportunity. Barclay, Lilly & Ethan joined me for Mother's day and spent the night. We barbecued, steamed clams that Barb Bailey and I harvested earlier in the day and fed them to both Lilly and Ethan. The pictures below are of Ethan enjoying his first experience of clams! Barclay was solo with the kids for two nights and is still recovering.
